Attorney Waite grew up in the Stevens Point area. She attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, where she double majored in Political Science and Public Administration. She received her B.A. in 1995. After college she attended the University of Iowa-College of Law, receiving her juris doctor in 1999. She worked in the legal clinic at the Law School representing clients in the areas of Disability and Bankruptcy. After law school she returned to Stevens Point and worked as an associate at the Law Offices of Christopher Lummis. In 2002, Attorney Waite opened her own practice focusing on criminal defense, family law, and guardian ad litem cases. In 2003, she left private practice taking a position as an assistant district attorney in Waupaca County. Her case load consisted of domestic violence, sexual assaults, and child abuse. She left the practice of law for a few years to raise her family and joined Huber Law Offices in November of 2011.
Attorney Waite resides in Waupaca, Wisconsin. She has been married to her husband Marc since 1994 and they have three children born in 1998, 2001, and 2004.
